What shipping GMY Daily taught me about finishing
GMY Daily started as a simple idea: deliver God's word every day in an app people actually open. The idea was the easy part. The finish was the test.
The lessons were practical. Scope discipline: the first version is smaller than you want and bigger than you need. Tooling trust: pick Firebase, commit to it, stop second-guessing. Shipping rhythm: a daily content pipeline means the machine has to run itself.
But the real lesson was about finishing. Most projects don't die from bad ideas, they die from abandoned momentum. The days I didn't feel like opening the code editor were the days that mattered most.
The app is live now. Every daily devotional that goes out is proof that finishing beats starting.

This is what I do every day. Whether you want to build or want to learn, let's talk.
